Raised Beds for Vegetables

Our raised bed kits are very heavy duty. They are made from scandanavien spruce wood which is un seasoned and untreated. This is the same wood that is used for scaffold boards, which we all know last for many many years. The reason is that the natural oils still remain in the wood whereas most other wood is kiln dried and this process removes the oils.

Our raised beds are all made from planks that are 36mm (1.5" thick) x 225mm (9" wide). They are very strong and sturdy. The beds are supplied in kit form and only take a few minutes to assemble. we offer two sizes, 1200 x 1200 ( 4ft x 4ft) and 1800 x 1200 (6ft x 4ft) Once in place the beds do not need posts to anchor them to the ground as they are very heavy.
